We're Engaged!

Steve had a beautiful ring custom designed for Amy. He was expecting it to arrive shortly after the happy couple were to spend a weekend in Niagara Falls with Steve's parents and Steve's sister's family.  Much to Steve's surprise, the ring arrived early and he was now struck with one of the most important tasks of his life: to propose to Amy.  

He spent an entire weekend waiting for just the right moment to ask Amy to be his wife, looking forward to finally retiring the slightly awkward term of "partner".  But alas, the perfect moment never presented itself.  Nearing the end of Sunday evening, after many elbows from his sister and mother (and the looks that said 'are you still carrying that ring around in your pocket??!!') he took Amy out in his fancy BMW for "a quick drive to the Falls".  Needless to say, Amy returned home with a beautiful ring on her finger and smiles all around.  

We don't know quite what happened at the Falls that day, only the two of them really know, but everyone was very happy the engagement was set.
